Came in for diagnosis of a check engine light. No call to discuss before $370+ Of other, unrelated work was done. Also asked about alignment and spare tire, neither of which was followed up. Then took car to dealer who diagnosed and replaced CE sensor free of charge under BMW extended warranty related to diesel emissions issue.

Got me in very quickly for an appointment for my 1994 BMW 325 to diagnose some engine issues. Dropped the car off at the shop Monday morning and by 12:00 I got a call that it was done, and the issue was exactly what I thought it was. The issue with the shop I had was the gentlemen told me when I first stopped in that the quote was $126 for the diagnosis and again when I dropped it off he said $126. I should have gotten this in writing but I forgot. When I picked the car up the receipt showed $190 a whole 70 bucks more than I was quoted. I felt a slightly intimidated by this shop and it didnt make me feel any better when I was asked if my car was broken while I was street racing. Further more when I picked my car up I wandered outside to find my car had been left unlocked presumably overnight at this shop. As a younger customer I felt a bit taken advantage of and not taken as seriously as I should have. I have been on the search for a good place that I trust to take care of my BMW and so far have not been successful.

I thank Dave for communicating to me regularly, but after you had the car four different times for a total of 12 days and continued problems came up each time I left you shop, my trust level is not good. I never had an oil leak in the car. After your mechanic worked on it, a leak began and I was told twice it was fixed when in fact it was not and I paid for repairs that may or may not have been needed. It could be a coincidence that the leak occurred when you were working on other issues with the car, but that would be quite the coincidence and really to be told it would be another $1300+ dollars to fix the new leak they found lead me to believe I was being taken after already spending $7200+ dollars at your shop.

Disappointed that I had to pay for hours to diagnose a problem, i would have liked to have the problem be understood and presented with some solutions. Happy that i was informed that i would have to pay for diagnosis and a bunch of charges weren't incurred. A little skeptical that i had my convertible top serviced by this shoppe about 6 months prior and now it stopped working.

Poor quality work and salesmen are arrogant. Avoid and find a better quality workshop. I was originally quoted $900 on a worst case scenario for needing plugs and coils changed out, and ended up with a $1700 bill. On top of that, they didn't even bother bolting my battery back down in the trunk and I had it go sliding around until I went home and fixed that myself! It also looks as if the lift was misplaced and it squished my runner board under the driver side door. I will NOT be returning here for service. I'm going to give all my business to Ken Caryl Imports!

$170 to replace Engine and cabin air filters seemed excessive, especially the labor part of it.

Too expensive marked up the parts dramatically.

My 2005.5 Audi A4 started spewing gray smoke on the highway. I stopped within two miles, before i lost any substantial oil. After looking under the car I was pretty sure a fitting on an oil return line was the issue. I had the car towed to The German Car Shoppe per a friends recommendation. When they called me back I was told they couldn't "replicate" the issue but that oil was leaking from two places--a cracked oil filter housing, and a turbo oil return line. They agreed that the oil filter housing was the most important issue and we moved forward. When I got my car back there were about a dozen check engine codes on when none were present when I shut the car off. When I asked I was told there was no point turning them off as they'd just come back. This includes misfire codes and issues I'm not even having with my car. After nearly $850 between the tow and the shop I drove the car like a granny for fear of any new issues. I only made it one day and 30 miles before I was stranded on the side of the road with a flashing "oil level" light. I only went through a quart every 5000 miles before this, so obviously the wrong issue was fixed or a new one was created. Whether intentional or negligent it has likely caused more damage at this point. I had to dump 1.5 quarts in just to limp it home and the car has been stranded for the last two weeks since the shop already took all my spare money. I would not recommended this shop if you want quality service. I might as well have gone to Midas and let some fresh college student mess up my car for half the price.

I can't fault you for anything you've done, but I think it's what you didn't do that made all the difference. I brought my car in for a pressure test and to diagnose a leaking coolant issue. Within a full hour of work, the mechanics were able to tell me they didn't see an issue with the pressure test, but that they managed to tell me the coolant leak was coming from somewhere near the coolant reservoir... thanks. They also 'fixed' a fuse in my fusebox, but that caused my roof motor to stop working and they refused to inspect it again to diagnose the issue. I think the mechanics thought they were doing the right thing every step of the way, it's only that I would expect a decent company to be willing to clean up after themselves.

$1000 service. Forgot to put my cooling fan back on .after 3fans went out with the owner one of the blades went through my radiator. They replace it. I got a fan delete kit they installed the fan kit but didn't wire it up. Said it would be OK to drive as it was not over heating. Driving to work there was a belt sound opened the hood there was one fan blade in my belt tentioner and one being ground down in the harmonic balancer .after the burns on my arms . I'm done. If you need service for a e36 m3 find someone who knows what he is doing.
