- The German Car Shoppe
This was my first time going to The German Car Shoppe. Overall experience was good. I dropped my car off in the morning and they were busy. Even being that busy they were able to assist each customer that was waiting to either drop or pick up their car. |

The quality of workmanship was very good. The price to change 2 valve cover gaskets (maybe a 2 hour job) was $600 which seemed excessive until I got a quote from MB of Littleton of $1,400. I plan to use this shop for future service. |
Would have like a more indepth diagnostic review of problem(s) so the quote would have been alittle more accurate. |
You guys do a great job overall. Easy to work with. But not sure my tires have been rotated every 10k as the front tires are way more worn than the back and i have been seeing you for several years. |
I was generally pleased with the service. Parking space is very tight. |
you guys do great work. 4 out of 5 only because it took three days. |
This shop is great and they know what their doing, but when I brought my car in for a check-up they could have taken the 5 minutes to fix my tire air pressure and turn off the service now warning on my car. |
The German Car Shoppe has been taking care of my Jetta for 2+ years now. They are a pro team that has handled every transaction with professionalism and expert knowledge. When I needed a loaner they were happy to help and went out of their way to give me a ride when I needed one. |
John was able to get me in on a Saturday and get my car fixed and back to me before I need it Saturday afternoon. |
Best bang for the buck in town. And, if The German Car Shoppe doesn't get it right the first time they don't argue and get it right the second time. And, you can't beat the free loaner. John, the owner, is real good people! I have been recommending this place to friends and family for years. I would give a 5/5 but, I'm the worlds pickiest German car owner.....seriously. |
Very well organized and timely. Just need to get the customer wi-fi working. |
First time at this shop for my 911. All went well, but $250 for an oil change was a little high in my opinion. |

The latest issue with our 2001 BMW was the trunk not closing. It took awhile and pushing on my end to replace the latch again but the problem is finally fixed. I only giving a 3 because both my wife and I said it had to be the latch but it took 3 additional trips after the first repair to get the latch fixed and having to spend money on wiring which I feel probably did not need to be done since the 2nd latch fixed the issue. You are very professional , this was not the best experience I have had with you compared to others. |

Transmission is working well so far. For the years 2009 -2012, I have spent approx. $785 for A/C related service and problems. The major problem has been the blower stops running and comes back on for short periods and stays off for long periods. The last repair only lasted a few miles! |

I think it's new that you charge $200 to diagnose. That still is pretty common and I recognize many diagnosis take time under the hood. In this case I brought in a printout that it was my 6 glow plug and you just ran codes and gave me the same printout and a quote for $500. I thought that was steep but I would have done it if the diagnosis went into that. $700 totally is way too much for this job. I got the idea that I am not your ideal clientele and I can't completely trust you to have regular peoples interests in mind. I got the job done for $150 elsewhere. |

I have enjoyed Ed/Grant/Dave (now retired) very much and they have been fair and accommodating for my X5 issues. But I have spent several thousand dollars on check engine light issues and they are still not fixed. Given this expensive failure my only choice will be to return to BMW and hope I can get my vehicle back in trustworthy condition. I wish this was not the case. |
